The Bible translation used for the app is the NGÜ (New Geneva Translation), of which the New Testament was published in 2009; The editing of the Psalms was also completed in 2011.
We want you to be able to better understand the message of the Bible. That's why it's important to us to be as true to the original text as possible without neglecting comprehensibility. Other translations are often more difficult to understand because they either use a more ancient language or use a very modern language but are relatively far removed from the original text in terms of content.
With the NGÜ you can read the entire New Testament and the Psalms in today's language. Designed to be easy to understand and read-friendly. The highest level of content and factual accuracy opens up new dimensions for you when reading.
The result of over 20 years of thorough translation work with detailed footnotes is already highly valued and popular among many Bible readers. Discover the biblical writings in a completely new way!
The indication of Bible passages that are related in content, the so-called parallel passages, should also be an aid to Bible study. The aim of the parallel passages is to awaken the joy of reading the Bible and to promote the study of the Holy Scriptures. The parallel passages help to discover the wonderful treasures of the Bible. By comparing certain Bible passages with others, we can discover what the Bible teaches.
